What we collect

To keep your eBay and Shopify stores in sync, DingoSync stores the product, inventory, and account data needed to operate the service. This includes eBay and Shopify API credentials, listing data, and your account details (e.g. email address).

How we use it

Your data is used primarily to provide the DingoSync service. From time to time, we may use aggregate data for the purposes of product recommendation or outreach. For example, if we notice that your Shopify sales are underperforming relative to your sales on eBay, we may contact you with recommendations for marketing agencies that can help improve the performance of your Shopify store. We will not share your data with other companies without your express consent.

How we store it

All traffic between you, DingoSync, eBay, and Shopify is encrypted over TLS. We connect to eBay and Shopify via official OAuth — we never see your passwords, and you can revoke access at any time from your eBay or Shopify account. User data and credentials are stored locally on the DingoSync application server, with no direct external access. Managed Instance customers are hosted on a fully isolated server (VPS).

Third parties

DingoSync communicates with eBay and Shopify on your behalf as a necessary part of the service. We may use a small number of operational providers (e.g. for hosting or email delivery) where required to run the service. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancelling your subscription will result in your account data being removed from the live service.

Please note that "deleted" data may persist for some time in places outside the live service — for example, in offline backups retained for disaster recovery, or in local database copies held by developers for debugging and testing. This data is not actively used and will not appear in the running DingoSync service, but we cannot guarantee its immediate removal from every such copy.
