Do I need an existing Shopify store, or can DingoSync set one up for me? ＋
Either works. You can design your own store or we can set one up for a one-off fee of US$299 + third-party theme cost (usually under US$500 all up).
Are there any hidden fees? ＋
We do not charge any additional fees, such as per-order or per-transaction fees - just the monthly subscription fee for DingoSync plus the platform fees for eBay/Shopify.
Which eBay sites are supported? ＋
All major eBay sites are supported, including: USA, Canada, Australia, UK and the European marketplaces. Less popular sites such as SG or PH should also work — if you're having any issues contact support and we'll get to the bottom of it for you!
How fast do eBay updates reach Shopify (and vice versa)? ＋
We support real-time sync for both eBay and Shopify — typically changes are reflected live within 30 seconds.
What happens if something goes wrong? ＋
Should anything go wrong, our built-in Reconcile Tool compares every eBay listing against Shopify and flags listings that are not perfectly in-sync. This allows you to fix any issues instantly.
How secure is my data? ＋
All traffic is encrypted over TLS. We connect to eBay and Shopify via official OAuth — we never see your passwords, and you can revoke access anytime. All user data and credentials are stored locally on the application server, with no direct external access. Managed Instance customers get a fully isolated server too.
What is the "Managed Instance" Plan? ＋
Managed Instance accounts are hosted on their own individual servers, allowing us to tailor the software to your exact needs.
We will also keep your software version stable, preventing almost all downtime, desyncs and regressions.
